Blitzkrieg Shadows Volume 1

Blitzkrieg Shadows is the Action/Dark Fantasy manga I've worked on for the last three years, inspired by works like Berserk and Metal Gear Solid. The manga portrays a dystopian future where primordial races of werewolves and vampires rule the world from the shadows since the beginning of civilizations and rewrites historical facts such as the Second World War and Nazism. The story follows the perspective of a revolutionary group called NULLS who oppose the violent and corrupt dictatorship imposed by the Regency Order of Askalo.

Volume 1 presents four action-packed chapters in a flashforward, a brief future in relation to the beginning of the story where the characters are already more developed, equipped and experienced to the point of going on a risky operation with the aim of neutralizing a Regent responsible for building a concentration camp in Ireland.

Characters -

Anne Drunheim -

A Crossbreed of werewolf and vampire, Anne had a bloodstained past as a German combatant during invasions on the continent of Armaran, was trained from a young age by learning occult arts from oriental swordmasters inherited by her father Alfred, who was the commander of his country's combat units.

Ralph Siegfried -

A Crossbreed of vampire and werewolf, Ralph has a traumatic past and lives an internal struggle of visions and nightmares, being a survivor of a bombing that occurred during the first post-decline war. Developing a revolt against the entire system that governs the new world.

Grigori Lagunov -

A Nefarious, a human with weak offspring of creatures of the night. Grigori had a distant life on the continent of Armaran (New Russia), where he lived hunting with his father, brothers and sisters. One day in his adolescence returning from an arduous hunt he had the misfortune to witness his mother and sisters being devoured by a lycanthropic being, vowing one day to find the beast again in search of revenge.

Flynn Rossberg -

A Native North American, Flynn is a firearms expert and sniper rifle specialist and a well-recognized mercenary within the Underworlds of Middelheim in England, where he lived as a wanted outlaw on the Burningwatch High Council's blacklist.

Frank Howard -

A former Arcane member of the Burningwatch High Council. After acts of corruption during expeditions to Armaran, Frank split from his unit and joined the resistance after having his life spared by a defecting German soldier, member of the organization later known as NULLS. 

Freya Brokentail -

Yes… it’s a cat. One day I looked at my pet kitten and thought, why not turn him into a manga character... that was the result.

An experiment from the Tiermensch project that went through a reverse process, acquiring intelligence and strength superior to that of a common human, combining it with his great cat-like agility.
